Interview with Member Banana Yoshimoto (Part 2)
Interview avec une membre nommée Banana Yoshimoto (Partie II)

Continuing on from last time, we are talking to writer Banana Yoshimoto about her experiences with the CS60. Yoshimoto actually has a CS60 device at her home. We asked her at what times she makes use of the CS60 personally.
―――――――――――――――――――――――――

– How was it when you actually got treatment?

Yoshimoto: I first had treatment from Sato-san. Parts of my body that I wasn’t expecting started to hurt, surprising me. The insides of my ankles and my armpits in particular, really hurt.

– You don’t normally notice those parts of the body, do you?

Yoshimoto: You don’t, do you? I hadn’t thought there was anything wrong there, but I guess I have bad habits in how I use my body, so those parts probably had built-ups of toxins.

– Normally when you get a massage, you tell the masseuse that your lower back feels stiff, but with the CS60 you get treatment all over, like the stomach and so on, right?

Yoshimoto: That’s right. The CS60 treatment really lets you feel how to whole body is one interconnected whole.
The biggest effect of all was mental. When you are on a low flight or a Shinkansen train trip, your head kind of zones out. After treatment with the CS60 that mental cloud sort of lifts, and you feel clear and refreshed. Also, the night after the treatment, I had a sudden fever. It wasn’t unpleasant, so much as it felt as though the cells in my body were activating and the toxins were leaving my body.

– Did that continue all throughout the treatments?

Yoshimoto: Since the HQ moved to Aoyama, I’ve only gone in emergencies. I have also made a few group bookings and Sato-san come and do in-house treatments. My husband is alcos a CS60 franchisee, so we actually have a device at home.

– Is that so? Is that for helping maintain the household?

Yoshimoto: I actually pushed my husband to try out the CS60 and get a qualification for it. My husband had actually been practicing Rolfing* at his own clinic for a few decades.
(*A type of bodywork that seeks to bring out the abilities and healing powers that a person originally had.)
Rolfing is considered a very painful treatment method. It was originally developed by an American doctor called Ida Rolf as a treatment for aligning the muscles. As the treatment spread throughout the world, more and more people who practiced it in a painful way came up. People would even come away from the treatments say that they felt like their insides were being scooped out, or that their arms were going to sheer off.
My husband was somebody who approached Rolfing from the perspective of trying to find a way of doing the treatment that didn’t have to hurt as much.
I feel like if someone can find a way for treating people with the CS60 that doesn’t hurt, it’s him.

– Does your husband also do your treatments?

Yoshimoto: It doesn’t feel right asking him to do more work when he already comes home exhausted. We just do a quick ten minutes for each other. We actually also do it for our pet dog, too. Animals just run away if something hurts them, so we just place it on him gently. When we do it that way, he even rolls over and shows us his stomach, because it feels good.

(To be continued…)
