今回は青山のCS60本部にうかがい、西村光久さんにインド遠征の様子を教えていただきました。

―先生、海外遠征でインドに行ったとお聞きしました。
どうしてインドに行くことになったのですか？

西村：インド・ダラムサラでコーディネートをしてくださった方が、施術の結果を見て「ジョードプルでもできますか？」と、声をかけてくださったのです。
「ジョードプルにある何カ所かの村で施術できませんでしょうか？」と相談されました。数ヶ月の準備期間を経て、インド渡航。今回は数名の施術スタッフが同行です。デリー経由でジョードプルに着いてから、村に向かい、会場である小学校の校庭に行くと、子供たちの楽隊が出迎えてくれました。

―すごく歓待してくれたのですね。

西村：ええ、村中で歓迎してくれてビックリしました。
インドの慣習にのっとって、男女に別れて施術しました。女性スタッフ3人、
男性スタッフ3人です。女性の方は、基本的に女性スタッフが施術します。ベッドに寝てもらって体を見てみると、みんな足が傷んでいます。いつも岩の上を素足で歩いているので、90%以上の人たちが「膝が悪い」「かかとが痛い」と言っていました。

―何人施術されたのですか？

西村：時間いっぱいまで130人ほど施術しました。2日目は、市内の病院でも施術しました。病院では4人くらいの患者さんに施術する予定でした。最初に院長さんが連れてきたのは、左肩が全然動かない人です。普通の五十肩であれば手は動くけど、肩から下がまったく動きません。院長さんも「このケースは無理でしょう？」という顔をしていました。しかし、効果が出た様子を感じたのか、その様子を側で見ていた人が集まってきて、ロビーが人でいっぱいになってしまいました。いろいろな人が入り乱れていたので、何人施術したのかもわかりません。最後に院長にCS60の使い方を説明して、継続的なケアをお願いして帰りました。

―マハラジャ殿下の宮殿に招待されたと伺いましたが？

西村：コーディネーターの方が大変な尽力をしてくださり、宮殿でマハラジャ殿下と面会する時間をいただきました。訪問した各所の方々から報告が上がってきているとの事で、興味をお持ちいただき、殿下をケアさせていただきました。

―殿下であっても、村人であっても、何の不調もない健康な体が何よりの宝物ですね。またインドに行かれる予定はありますか？

西村：来年は定期的にインド・ジョードプルへ訪れる予定です。社会的なインフラになれるよう、私たちも努力を継続したいと思います。

For this edition of the CS60 newsletter, we spoke to Mitsuhisa Nishimura at the Aoyama CS60 HQ to hear about his expedition to India.

– Dr. Nishimura, I heard that you went on an overseas expedition to India. What made you go to India?

Nishimura: The people who coordinated our trip to Dharamshala, India, saw the results of our work and asked us if we couldn’t also do the same in Jodhpur.
They talked to us about going to a number of villages in Jodhpur to do treatments. After a number of months of preparation, we headed off to India.
This time I went together with several treatment staff.
After arriving in Jodhpur via Delhi, we headed to the villages. We went to the schoolyard of a primary school that we were using as the grounds for our treatments, and we were greeted by a welcoming party of school children.

– They were really welcoming, weren’t they?

Nishimura: That’s right, everyone in the village was really welcoming.
Following Indian customs, we divided up the men and the women and performed treatments. We had three female and three male staff.
Generally speaking, the female staff treated female patients.
We had people lie down on beds and looked over their bodies, and noticed that all of them had injured feet.
People there all constantly walk barefoot on rough stone, so over 90% of people complain of having bad knees and sore feet.

– How many people did you treat?

Nishimura: We treated 130 people until we ran out of time. On the second day we did treatments at a hospital in the city. At the hospital, we were scheduled to treat four people. The first person the head of the hospital took us to was a patient who couldn’t move his left shoulder at all. With a normal stiff shoulder, you would expect to be able to move your hand still, but this patient couldn’t move at all from the shoulder down. The head of the hospital had a face that seemed to say: “this case is just impossible, right?”
However, whether they could feel the effect of it, or they just say what was going on peripherally, the lobby quickly got filled with people.
There were so many people crowded in there that in the end I don’t know how many people we treated it.
Finally, we explained how to use the CS60 to the head of the hospital, and asked him to handle the ongoing care before returning.

– I heard you were invited to the palace of the Maharajah?

Nishimura: The coordinators really outdid themselves for us, and got us some time to meet with the Maharajah at his palace.
Apparently, he had become interested in us after hearing reports from people at all of the locations we visited, so he had us come to treat him.

– A healthy body free of disease is the most valuable treasure, whether you are a lord or a villager.

Nishimura: Next year I intend to go and visit Jodhpur periodically.
We will continue to work hard to become an important part of the infrastructure of society.

– Professeur Nishimura, j’ai entendu dire que vous étiez parti en Inde.
Pourquoi y êtes-vous parti ?

Nishimura : Une personne qui a organisé le voyage précédent à Dharamsala a été impressionnée par les résultats obtenus avec le CS60 et m’a demandé de venir soigner des gens dans plusieurs villages à Jodhpur.
Après quelque mois de préparation, je suis parti en Inde.
Cette fois-ci, quelques praticiens m’ont accompagné.
Après être arrivé à Jodhpur en passant à Delhi, nous sommes allés dans un village. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés dans la cour de récréation de l’école primaire où nous soignions les gens, les enfants nous ont accueillis avec de la musique instrumentale.

– Vous avez été bien accueillis alors.

Nishimura : Oui. J’ai été surpris d’être si bien accueilli par tout village entier.
Conformément aux coutumes indiennes, nous avons donné des soins aux hommes et aux femmes séparément.
Nous étions trois praticiens féminins et trois praticiens masculins.
Les femmes du village ont principalement été soignées par les praticiens féminins.
J’ai remarqué que tout le monde dans le village avait les jambes abîmées.
Comme ils marchent tous les jours pieds nus sur des roches, plus de 90 % des gens du village disaient avoir mal aux genoux et aux talons.

– Combien de personnes avez-vous soignées ?

Nishimura : Nous avons soigné environ 130 personnes jusqu’aux derniers moments.
Au lendemain, nous avons donné des sessions thérapeutiques dans un hôpital dans la ville de Jodhpur.
Nous avons au début voulu soigner quatre patients environ.
Le directeur de l’hôpital a amené un patient qui n’était pas capable de remuer son épaule gauche.
S’il avait simplement une épaule gelée, il aurait dû être capable au moins de bouger sa main. Cependant, il n’arrivait pas à remuer ni son bras ni sa main.
Le directeur avait l’air de penser qu’il était difficile de le guérir.
Un peu plus tard, les gens qui étaient en train de nous regarder de loin ont probablement pensé que le CS60 était efficace et se sont réunis dans le hall : le hall était alors bondé de gens.
Il y avait beaucoup de gens différents alors je ne me rappelle plus combien de gens j’ai soigné.
Avant de quitter le lieu, j’ai expliqué au directeur comment utiliser le CS60 et lui ai demandé de soigner régulièrement les gens.

– J’ai entendu que vous aviez été invité au palais du Maharaja.

Nishimura : La personne qui a organisé notre voyage a fait en sorte que nous puissions rencontrer le Maharaja au palais.
Après avoir appris que nous avions soigné les gens dans différents endroits en Inde, le Maharaja a été intéressé par le CS60. J’y suis donc allé pour le soigner.

– Pour les gens, soit le Maharaja soit les villageois, il n’y a pas de meilleure chose que la santé.
Partez-vous à nouveau en Inde ?

Nishimura : Je vais aller souvent à Jodhpur en Inde l’année prochaine.
Nous continuons nos efforts pour que le CS60 devienne une infrastructure sociale.
